Hello all!
It is so wonderful to see so many new faces! Since the announcement of our one-year anniversary, we've had over 30 new members register! I know I'm using a lot of exclamation points, but it is very exciting to see so much growth!! I hope everyone has been enjoying their time on the site thus far.
Some of you have received a PM from me inquiring about where you heard about our website. Rather than individually PM every new member, I've decided to set up a poll in order to keep up with our growing numbers. We would really appreciate everyone's feedback so that we can gauge the effectiveness of our advertising efforts and make adjustments as necessary.
It wasn't announced onsite yet as it was a recent development, but Scripturient now has a Twitter account. You can follow us @ScripturientRP_ if you like. The account is currently used to tweet about site announcements and also to engage with the broader writing and roleplaying community on the platform to attract new members.
Looking ahead, there are some more projects currently in development. We plan to make a Tumblr account to do more outreach on that platform. We also will be putting together a Discord server to expand the socialization options for our site members. Holliday is continuing to work on more custom BBCode tags and the user guide for them. She is also working on some other interface optimization for the website in general, so there is a chance that there will be even more visual changes to certain areas on the site. We don't have a specific timeline for when these projects will be finished and rolled out -- we are a small team doing all of this on a voluntary basis during our free time -- but we hope to see the execution of these ideas in the next month or two.
It has been great to see such an uptick in activity on Scripturient! From the lovely new members increasing our population to those older members who joined a while back and are becoming more active now, we are immensely grateful that you chose to be a part of our community and we hope to continue to see positive growth in our cozy little corner of the internet! If you know anyone who you think would also enjoy the site, we would love it if you would tell them about us!
If you have ideas for improvements we could make to the website to make it even more enjoyable, you can post them to the Troubleshooting and Implementation Requests thread or message a staff member.
